About us: how alltickets.venice.it works

alltickets.venice.it is an independent editorial project started in 2026. It collects prices, opening hours and entry rules for Venice's attractions and explains where it is worth booking. This page sets out how we work and how we pay for it.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

alltickets.venice.it is an independent editorial site, online since 2026, built around a very practical problem: working out what it costs to get into the places worth seeing in Venice, when to go, and where to book without paying more than you need to. We belong to no museum, no public body and no agency. We have no office off Calle Larga and we sell nothing ourselves.

What you will find on these pages

Every attraction page answers the same questions: what the full and concession tickets cost, the opening hours and the last admission, whether you need to book, how long the visit takes, how to get there, and what is within ten minutes' walk. Around those sit the pages that cut across the city: all the tickets in one comparison table, passes and combos with the arithmetic showing when they actually pay off, and the Venice access fee with the rules set by the city council.

Reviews of the booking platforms sit in their own section, and that includes the partner we earn from: our page on Tiqets lists the weaknesses alongside the strengths.

How we check prices and opening hours

The method is simple and deliberately dull.

  • Official sources first. Fares, calendars and entry rules come from the operators themselves (the civic museums, the patriarchate, the theatres, ACTV, the city council), not from other travel sites.
  • Real prices from real listings. When we write "from €X" we mean the fare the seller was actually showing when we last checked, not an estimate.
  • Anything we cannot confirm is flagged. If a fare or an opening time cannot be verified against an official source, the page carries an explicit warning rather than a number dressed up as a fact.
  • No invented experiences. We do not publish accounts of visits nobody made, or colour for its own sake. What you read is either verifiable or marked as needing checking.

Prices in Venice change more often than people expect, particularly between high and low season. Before you pay, the final amount shown on the booking platform is always the one that counts.

How we pay for this

The site runs on affiliate income. We are a Tiqets affiliate: when you book after following a link or a product card here, Tiqets pays us a commission that comes out of its own margin.

Two consequences worth putting in writing:

  1. You do not pay a penny more. The fare is the same one you would find by opening the platform directly. We add no mark-up, no service fee and no "reserved price".
  2. We never touch your money. Payment happens on the seller's platform, under its contract terms and through its payment systems. We never see your card, your address or your booking details.

That model carries an obvious conflict of interest, and the best way to handle it is to declare it. Which is why the pages also say when booking online is pointless: churches you can enter free, museums where the queue at the desk lasts five minutes, transport passes that are cheaper at the ACTV counters, the free-admission days. We earn nothing from any of that, and it stays on the page.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell tickets and we do not issue vouchers.
  • We do not handle bookings, changes, cancellations or refunds: those stay with the platform you bought from.
  • We do not ask you to register: there are no accounts here, no members' area and no compulsory newsletter.
  • We do not run sponsored content dressed up as editorial, or rankings sold to the highest bidder.
  • We do not give legal or tax advice on visas, exemptions or refunds.

Corrections and reports

A site that publishes hundreds of numbers will get one of them wrong sooner or later. If you find an out-of-date price, a changed opening time or an inaccuracy, write to support@alltickets.venice.it and name the page. Corrections take priority over new publishing, and the revision date at the foot of a page moves only when the content genuinely changes. Response times and what to include are set out on the contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Who runs alltickets.venice.it?
A small independent editorial team writing about tickets, tours and transport in Venice. The site began in 2026 and is not connected to any museum, public body or travel agency. For anything at all, write to support@alltickets.venice.it.
Does the site sell tickets?
No. Every booking happens on the seller's own platform, under its contract, with its payment system and its customer support. We compare the options and send you to the right page.
How does alltickets.venice.it make money?
Through affiliate commission. If you book after following one of our links, Tiqets pays us a commission out of its own margin. The price you pay is identical to the price you would find arriving on your own, with no mark-up.
Does the commission influence your advice?
The pages also tell you when not to book online: tickets at the box office, free entry, churches you can walk into, ACTV travelcards bought at the counter. We earn nothing from that advice and it stays on the page regardless.
How often are the pages updated?
Prices and opening hours are rechecked at least once a season, and every time an attraction changes its fares or its calendar. The date at the foot of each page shows the last revision.
